"A fast paced corporate life as Mobile Commerce Head with a premier airline, ushered me to take comfort in art and travel. From here, I embarked on a new journey through a dialogue with misty mountains, forests and unique experiences and often voiced it through my landscape paintings. This brought me closer to observing the nuances in nature and greatly influenced my lifestyle and an endeavour to balance with organic and natural elements. Supriya is an MBA in Marketing and Electronics and Telecom Engineer. With her maternal roots in design and construction of garments, she grew up surrounded by fabrics and sewing machines from where she naturally gathered the finer nuances of style and design. She currently designs jewellery at FOReT and is the chief hustler.

OUR INSPIRATION
FOReT draws its inspiration from the French word "Forêt," meaning forest. This inspiration is deeply embedded in our brand ethos, emphasizing the essence and elegance of nature. The brand symbolizes the soul of forests, resonating with the beauty and diversity of the natural world.
Our MATERIALS
The cornerstone of our product line is genuine European Cork, a testament to our commitment to sustainability. Known as Nature's Leather, this eco-friendly material is sourced ethically, ensuring our products are not only stylish but also responsible. We blend Cork with other elements like 18K Gold plated brass, stainless steel, and porcelain ceramic beads, adding a modern twist to our designs.
Additionally, we incorporate innovative materials like Banana Bark and Banana Fiber, which add unique textures and natural aesthetics to our products. These materials are carefully selected for their durability and environmental friendliness, aligning with our ethos of sustainable luxury.
Our products also feature high-quality metals, chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their ability to complement the natural materials, creating a harmonious blend of nature and craftsmanship in each piece.
CORK
Cork is a sustainable material born from the bark of Cork Oak Trees. Cork is renewable, hypo-allergenic and water-resistant. We use genuine European Cork that is FSC.
Banana Bark
Banana Bark is derived from the Banana tree after it dies. This bark is durable and a beautiful source from nature.
Beyond Fashion
Beyond fashion, FOReT actively contributes to environmental sustainability by supporting artisans and planting trees, promoting a greener future. Our collaboration with Sankalpratu Foundation in tree planting initiatives further underscores our commitment to environmental stewardship. We have planted more than 600 trees that improves biodiversity and also supports farmers.
Seeding with local communities
By prioritizing agricultural residue over synthetic materials and embracing circularity in our product design, we reduce plastic pollution and support farmers with additional financial assistance. Our commitment to repurposing waste underscores its significance, providing financial assistance to farmers and supporting artisanal craftsmanship, contributing to a truly circular and sustainable ecosystem.
GENDER EQUALITY
FOReT supports rural women employment by engaging with them in our product development and design. We are proud to be empowered by them in making of our beautiful products.
